Business Karma

Ah…I spent most of the day driving back from Kentucky.  During the drive, I pondered on some actions, I have took with the studio. I came to the realization there is life lessons to be discovered in business decisions.

Without going into too much detail, (Due to the fact that competitors probably will read this..) I was adding value components to my business. I went to company A and bought some products to give to customers. I didn’t ask for a discount and paid full price. And that is OK with me.. A few weeks later I approached company B, told them what I was doing and asked to buy some products to give away. Guess what! They gave them to me for free because they saw the benefit for their company….They would get new customers!

So the lesson to learn here is this…If  I approached company A and demanded a discount or kept searching for a better deal with another company. I would have lost time, energy and probably still wouldn’t  have the value added program in place.  Plus by willing to paid full price, it was as if it opened a door for me to get free products from company B. I call it Business Karma….
